| Tenpa Rabten
is a famous master painter and scholar or Tibetan sacred arts. He
is a renowned teacher and founder of one of the most prestigious tangka
painting schools in Tibet. When visiting Tenpa's studio and tangka
painting school, we learn the centuries old tangka painting techniques
from one of Tibet's greatest living master painters. |

| Lama Lobsang
Tenzin Rinpoche is the current abbot of Drepung monastery
in Tibet. Drepung was once the largest monastic university in the
world with more than 10,000 monks. Rinpoche is one of the most highest
and learned Tibetan lamas both inside and outside of Tibet. He has
been a monk his entire life and holds the highest Geshe degree in
Buddhist studies. Rinpoche has collaborated on many books with his
most famous American student and Tibetologist, Professor Jeffery Hopkins.
Having an audience and receiving lectures from such a highly realized
lama is always an honor and true highlight of our visits in Tibet.
