After dinner stroll and shop in the winding streets and alleys of the Plaka. Overnight — Athens/Breakfast & Dinner

Dine to live Greek music with a show of traditional Greek dances. Overnight — Athens/Breakfast & Dinner
Day 4
Depart Athens on a short morning flight to the verdant Island of Samos, with its lacy coasts, lush green vineyards, and mountain villages perched high on lofty ravines. Relax by the pool overlooking the turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea or explore the small village and beaches of Kokkari, just a short walk from our hotel. Overnight — Kokkari/Breakfast & Dinner
Day 5
Our tour of Samos begins as we explore the 16th century monastery of Megalis Panayia, containing the oldest frescoes on the island. Another day in paradise! Journey back in time as we set out to visit the tiny hill village of Manolates. The small pedestrian streets and alleys of Manolates are lined on both sides with white stucco houses with brightly colored shutters, tiled roofs and small local tavernas scattered in between. In recent years, Manolates has also become an artist colony with friendly local artists and craftsmen who invite us into their studios. Take a beautiful hike downhill, on an old donkey trail through the vineyards and cyprus groves that over look the sea. Overnight — Kokkari/Breakfast & Dinner
Day 7
Visit the famed Heraion, the main sanctuary of ancient Samos dedicated to the Goddess Hera, wife of Zeus and Queen of the Gods. Several temples once stood on this site, the latest dating from the reign of Polykrates in 525 B.C. including the Great Temple of Hera that was even larger than the Parthenon in Athens! After exploring Heraion, we visit the newly opened Archeological Museum of Pythagoria and the town of Pythagoria. Overnight — Kokkari/Breakfast & Dinner
