India is a land of diverse environments — barren desserts, tropical beaches, and the snow capped mountains of the majestic Himalayas. It is a richly woven fabric of ritual, mysticism, religion, music, art, and architecture.

Most who have made the journey would agree that India's 5,000 years of human history offers an overwhelming feast for the senses. India is not just another country - it is another world!

On this exciting tour we will explore northern India and Ladahk- the land of high mountain passes that is one of the most remote areas of the world. Often referred to as Little Tibet, it is part of the Trans-Himalaya, a vast complex of mountain ranges with an arid lunarscape topography. It is dotted with centuries-old Tibetan Buddhist monasteries and forts that are perched high atop craggy mountain peaks.

We will explore these ancient monasteries and experience one of the last places on earth where Tibetan Buddhist culture has not been disrupted.

The tour begins in New Delhi where we explore Sikh and Jain temples. A special highlight of this trip includes a visit to the Taj Mahal - one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
